In the exhibition ‘Before the Incas, Gods and Kings in Ancient Peru’, you will encounter Cupisnique, Mochica, Chimú, Lambayeque: the many cultures at the origin of the powerful Incan empire. Pottery, gold and silver artefacts, fabrics: the museum presents almost 300 artworks, mostly discovered during the excavations of the past 30 years. These exceptional treasures are described across the 19 commentaries.
